GUTMANN HEFE-WEIZEN 0,5 L
Bavarian wheat beer of the Hefeweizen (Weißbier) type, top-fermented, produced by Brauerei Gutmann in Titting, Franconia (Bavaria). The brewery has a tradition of over 300 years: in 1707, the Prince-Bishop of Eichstätt built a brewery in the moated castle of Titting; since 1855, the brewery has belonged to the Gutmann family, who have managed it for six generations. Gutmann has been producing wheat beer since 1913 and specializes in this style. The process is artisanal and traditional: the main fermentation takes place in open vats in the historic beer cellars, while maturation and secondary fermentation are carried out exclusively in the bottle (Flaschengärung), with plenty of their own fresh yeast. No artificial preservatives are used.
Golden color with natural cloudiness, typical for a Weißbier. Creamy, rich, and long-lasting foam. The aroma is strongly wheaty, hefeblumig (floral-yeasty), with fruity notes of banana (isoamyl acetate), cereals, apricot, and a hint of cloves. The taste is soft and creamy on the palate, with a balanced fruitiness and pronounced yeast flavor - bananas, cereals, apricot, spiced. Full and velvety body, fine and lively carbonation. Long, round finish with a fine note of hops and a discreet bitterness. A classic benchmark Hefeweizen.
