Bavarian pale lager of Helles type, brewed by Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan in Freising, Bavaria - the oldest brewery in the world, in continuous operation since 1040. The assortment was launched in May 2020, after a year of preparation, as a gentler and lighter variant to accompany the Original Helles. Golden-yellow color, clear and brilliant (glanzfein), with a compact, fine-pored head. Its noble taste profile comes from Hallertau Saphir and Select aromatic hop varieties: soft attack, fresh liveliness, mild floral notes, light bread malt and a slight honey sweetness, with a discreet background bouquet of hops. Harmonious, round, and perfectly balanced. Gold medalist at the European Beer Star 2020.
